First thing you will want to do is use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test the stop/turn circuits of the 7-way you have on your vehicle. It sounds like maybe those circuits are shorted out and that is why it seems like the adapter # A75TB isn't working properly. It sounds like the 7-way on your 2015 Land Rover LR4 is not getting the signal that the trailer is connected at times, which you are correct, is due to the LED lights on your trailer, and the fact that they have such little power draw. Since your tires are brand new they will most likely last you a while. I would go with the Thule chains part # TH01571265 that you referenced since they are confirmed as a fit for the 255/55R19.
This chain size will not fit the other two sizes you mentioned so I would wait till you know for certain that you would upgrade to the larger tires before you pick out a set of chains for them as well.

You do have to have a brake controller installed in your 2014 Land Rover LR4 to operate the brakes of your trailer. Without one installed the brakes will not activate at all.

Your main problem is an insufficient ground for the trailer wiring. Try improving the connection of the main ground wire of the trailer wiring harness. Make sure it is attached to a clean metal surface. Or you can run all of the trailer wires back to the main ground. This is actually the ideal solution. I do recommend installing a trailer hitch on your 2016 Land Rover LR4 and using a hitch mounted bike rack because there is more versatility in the types of racks that can be used, plus it's just easier to mess with.
